CPS Insurance Services Affiliates Serve On NAILBA’s 2011 Board Of Directors

Irvine, CA. December, 2010 – CPS Insurance Services (CPS) is proud to announce that PJ Doyle of CPS Gulf States Brokerage and David Long of CPS Sacramento will be serving on The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies’ (NAILBA) 2011 Board of Directors.

NAILBA is a nonprofit trade organization, representing over 250,000 producers, which promotes financial security through the use of independent brokerage distribution. Members of NAILBA’s 2011 Board of Directors were chosen among their peers because of their accomplishments throughout their years of civic service. 

“This is a great way to stay involved in our industry and help others succeed,” said PJ Doyle LUTCF, Principal of CPS Gulf States Brokerage. “Our goal for 2011 is to keep NAILBA moving forward, while encouraging colleagues to volunteer to serve with this great organization in the future.”

Doyle has actively served on NAILBA’s Board of Directors for the past two years in addition to his long-standing involvement with the TYGERS, NAIFA and Rotary International.

David Long, Senior Vice President of CPS Sacramento, has served as chairman of NAILBA’s Membership Committee and has been an active member on the NAILBA Professional Development Committee and NAILBA Communications Committee.

“Serving a second year on NAILBA’s Board of Directors is a privilege,” said Long. “I look forward to strengthening the relationships our organization has with insurance carriers, working together to help our members grow their businesses.”

Peter Holden, founder of CPS Insurance Services, served as Chairman of NAILBA from 1994 to 1995 and has continued to promote involvement in the insurance and financial services industry. “There is no better way to connect with like-minded professionals who are motivated to improve and grow our community.  NAILBA offers invaluable opportunities for those who actively seek them.”

Throughout the years, CPS and its Affiliate members have remained dedicated to advancing the industry by participating in numerous NAILBA committees and serving on its Board of Directors. Andy Holden, President of CPS Insurance Services has served on the Board of Directors for NAILBA’s Charitable Foundation since 2009, and encourages CPS Affiliates to stay involved.

About PJ Doyle
PJ Doyle is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and joined his father at Crisis Management Agency in 1990. The agency merged with the Harrison James Group in 1997, where Doyle became a partner and regional brokerage manager. In 2002, Doyle and long time business partner Angie Dean opened up CPS/Gulf States Brokerage, LLC, an affiliate of CPS Insurance Services, where he serves as Principal/Owner. Doyle has been an active member of the TYGERS, Mississippi and Alabama NAIFA, FSP and Rotary International and is a Paul Harris Fellow.

David Long is Senior Vice President of CPS Sacramento, an independent life brokerage agency in Sacramento, CA. He and his sister make up the second generation of the family agency which was started in the late 70s. Long gained experience in the financial services industry working in banking, claims and then in personal production as a Life agent, before joining the family business in 1999. He has served as chairman of NAILBA’s Membership Committee and has been active on the NAILBA Professional Development Committee and NAILBA Communications Committee.
