Tom began his career in the insurance industry in 1983, at age 21, with American General Life & Accident as a Servicing Debit Agent. Then, he secured a position with the Prudential Financial Group in 1986, in which he obtained his Property & Casualty license, Series 6 and 63 licenses specializing in Life Insurance and Financial Planning. In 1990, Tom made the decision to become an Independent Insurance Broker. Tom started his own business, specializing in Executive Benefits and Retirement Planning for Business Owners in the Small Business Market. Tom found a position with CPS Insurance Services in 1998 as a New Business Manager, assisting independent brokers with large case design and advanced sales concepts for life insurance. Tom obtained his FLMI and ACS industry designations in 2003, and obtained his CLU designation in 2010. After 31 years of Retail Life Sales, Disability Income, Financial Planning, and working with Independent Brokers on the wholesale side of the business, Tom now manages the Disability Income Department at CPS Insurance Services, and is their Senior Marketing Manager for Disability Income Sales.
